Easter

Kylie dyed eggs, we were trying to do it the 'old fashioned' way using beet juice, grape juice and spice concoctions, and was taking a bit of time. Todd walked in took a cup of water and 4 jelly beans, boiled it in the microwave dropped in 2 more beans and an egg and they turned out beautiful! I will definately never use a kit, I like the jelly bean technique.


Then onto the brownies..

Easter Festival

We went to an Easter Eggstravaganza at Aunt Shara's work. Got eggs, colored, decorated eggs, saw the easter bunny (well Kylie did atleast), they had a petting zoo we saw from a distance and played in the grass on a beautiful day!

St Patricks Day and Corned Beef!

I Cooked Corned Beef and Cabbage for St Patricks Day today and it was 'o so yummy! What I wanted to mention was my Papa. He passed away 4 years ago next week. I was pregnant with Kylie at the time and we had already planned on naming her after him and we were lucky enough to be able to tell him. One of Papa's favorite meals was corned beef. The last time I saw him, my grandma, him, my mom and I all went to lunch at this little place down by the river on Lake Erie. We ate corned beef sandwiches, coleslaw, and drank tea. He gave me his pickle since I was pregnant with Kylie:) Oh and you better not forget the horseradish! It is a memory I will always treasure, he meant so much to me and I miss him very much. This is a picture of me with him before he got sick, the way I remember him. Miss you Papa!

Kylie's sleep study

Kylie had her sleep study last night and she did awesome. She only got upset a few times particularly about the nasal cannula and the red light on her toe. But a few bribes and we made it through:) Here are a few pics!

Bribe #2 was chocolate milk at McDonalds. I told her we could go in and drink it but as we walked up they told us they didn't open the lobby until 7am(It was 6:19) :( So we had to go through the drive thru instead..

Daddy took her to the 'bagel shop' as promised:) And drinking her chocolate milk.

The bible tells me so according to Kylie..

What am I supposed to say to this.. Kylie was asking for more yogurt, I had told her no we weren't going to have anymore today. She asked why and I said because mommy said so. She promptly brought me a bible, opened it up, and said mommy 'I can have more yogurt the bible tells me so' !! Are you kidding me!!

Second snow!

We went all winter with no snow and then in the span of a week we get it twice!! It was 80 degrees followed by snow, then 75 degrees followed by more snow!! Crazy weather!

So we made it to march before we got snow!!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to an Easter Egg Hunt with the North Texas Gluten Intolerance Group on saturday. The girls had a great time!!
